Welcome! You have found the homepage of the Summer 2024 manifestation of Math 218.

Final Exam

The Final Exam is scheduled to take place on Saturday 10-August from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Physics 227 (our normal classroom).

The exam will consist of mostly free-response problems with a few fill in the blank and multiple choice questions. You should be prepared to solve problems that you have not seen before.

The exam is cumulative, so you should be prepared for every topic covered throughout the semester to be represented on the exam.

The exam will be "closed" in the sense that no outside aid (like books or calculators) will be allowed. The only thing you need to bring is a writing utensil.

To prepare for the exam, you should be able to:

• Correctly articulate all definitions and theorems from lecture.
• Clearly and coherently solve all examples from lecture.
• Write correct and legible solutions to all problems from the midterm exams, problem sets, and comprehension quizzes.
